Awards distinguish a company as one that has achieved a certain degree of success against a specific set of standards. Linbeck Group was recently recognized as a winner by TEXO, the largest commercial contractors association in Texas. The construction firm won its Distinguished Building Award for Cook Children’s Medical Center South Utility Plant in Fort Worth, a stellar project for one of the country’s leading integrated health care systems.

Houston / Fort Worth, Texas – January 23, 2017 – Linbeck Group, LLC recently received the TEXO Distinguished Building Award for its work on Cook Children‘s Medical Center South Utility Plant in Fort Worth. The achievement was celebrated at the TEXO Holiday and Awards Gala on December 2nd in Grapevine, Texas.

TEXO, the largest commercial contractors association in Texas, selected winning projects for the Distinguished Building Awards based on difficulty in construction, original construction techniques involved, final appearance, quality of the finished product and the timeliness of the project’s completion. Linbeck received the prestigious award under the “Building Category” Building 5 ($30 – $75 M).

“The Cook Children’s project is an outstanding example of the leadership, innovation, and superior teamwork that differentiate Linbeck,” said Mark Linenberger, Sr. Vice President / General Manager, Linbeck Group. “This award is yet another validation that we are true partners with our clients by combining industry-leading talent, technologies and a passion for unparalleled service.”

The two-story, free standing 16,560-square-foot South Utility Plant project, which was completed in 2015, houses energy-efficient options to support the hospital’s new South Tower and increases the medical center’s energy capacity to serve future growth.

Continued Linenberger, “In constructing the South Utility Plant, Linbeck used the latest technology and integrated lean processes, including 3-D scanning to confirm absolute compliance to the fully coordinated BIM model and, most importantly, the expertise and commissioning standards of Cook Children’s Medical Center. The result is a project of the highest caliber.”
